Objective:
The VTT project aimed to create an innovative online training tool for military applications, focusing on planning and command procedures at the sub-unit level. The goal was to provide a cost-effective, safe, and realistic alternative to traditional military training methods.
Web and Interface Design: I designed an intuitive and user-friendly interface for VTT, focusing on creating a visually appealing layout that effectively communicated the tool’s functionality and facilitated easy navigation for users.
Mockup Creation: I developed detailed mockups for the VTT platform, which played a crucial role in visualizing the final product and guiding the development process.
Marketing Plan Development: I was instrumental in crafting a comprehensive marketing plan for VTT. This involved strategizing on how to effectively position and promote the tool within the military sector, identifying key target audiences, and developing messaging that resonated with potential users.
Graphic Design: I created various graphic elements for VTT, including logos, icons, videos and other visual components that enhanced the aesthetic appeal and user experience of the platform.
Despite the project’s cancellation due to budget constraints and procurement regulations within NATO, my involvement in the VTT project was a valuable experience. The tool was highly praised during the Home Defense testing phase for its innovation and effectiveness. Although the project ultimately exceeded the initial budget, leading to its discontinuation, the positive feedback and successful testing underscored the potential and value of such digital solutions in military training. This experience highlighted the complexities of large-scale project management and the importance of aligning technological innovation with organizational budgeting and procurement processes.
